Below you’ll find the program for our 5-day wine tour package: “Introduction to the Le Marche wine region.”
Since you’ll always depart from and return to Villa Verdicchio, your stay can be shortened or extended as you wish (also take a look at our other packages). This way, you can further explore the Marche region and part of Umbria from Villa Verdicchio.
We’ll take care of all arrangements for wine tastings at selected cantinas (wineries) and restaurants, coordinated with their opening hours.
The suggested restaurants in the itinerary are reserved for you on the same day or a few days in advance. This allows us to tailor the experience to your wishes — and include you in special events at wineries or restaurants when possible.
This way, you keep full freedom to decide where you eat, what you eat, and how much you eat and drink. You pay directly at the restaurant.
5-day wine trip at a Bed & Breakfast for wine lovers
Day 1: Welcome to Villa Verdicchio
Welcome to Villa Verdicchio!
You’ve probably had quite a journey today, so we’ll keep things easy and relaxed this evening.
A warm welcome at Villa Verdicchio with a refreshing glass of Verdicchio
Unwind in the garden or take a short walk to explore the surroundings
In the evening, we’ll serve a delicious pasta salad accompanied by a fine bottle of Verdicchio
Day 2: Cupramontana
A walk through Cupramontana, which you can do on foot from Villa Verdicchio. From there, a short drive takes you to the first tasting:
Wine tasting at Cantina Sparapani Frati Bianchi in Cupramontana.
- Lunch at Trattoria Da Fiorina at Cantina Sparapani in Cupramontana. This lunch is included in the package.
- -Walk to the monastary (2,5km) of Eremo Frati Bianchi near this cantina.
- -Wine tasting at Vignamato in San Paolo di Jesi
Relax and enjoy the sunset at Villa Verdicchio

Day 3: Discover a new grape variety: Lacrima di Morro d’Alba and a finale in Senigallia

Day 4: Castelli di Jesi Frasassi Caves and other natural beauty, wine tasting at Casalfarneto
Visit to the Frasassi Caves

- If any of the tastings in your arrangement fall on a Sunday, that part of the program will be replaced by a tasting at Cantina Filodivino Wineresort & Spa, as the wineries in our program are closed on Sundays.
