1.Rental agreement

The rental agreement is established between the lessor (hereinafter called Villa Verdicchio) and the lessee (hereinafter called ‘the guest’) 

by the declaration of agreement at the time of booking, by which the guest also agrees to the content of the reservation and 

our general terms and conditions on the agreement. After booking, the guest will receive a booking confirmation from us.

2. Payment of the rental price

All payments are made through the secure payment system Stripe. 

This system registers your VISA or MASTERCARD to make the payment of the rental in 2 instalments.

To guarantee your booking, you must enter your credit details in the booking system at the time of booking.

The rent will be paid as follows:

30% of the rent is to be paid upon booking.

70% of the rent will be charged to your credit card 15 days before arrival.

Villa Verdicchio must be in possession of the total rental amount due 15 days prior to arrival. 

If not, Villa Verdicchio is entitled to cancel the reservation and release the room for rental.

3. Cancellation by the guest

Standard Rate

The guest may cancel free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. The booking can be cancelled directly through our guest portal. Login details are provided in the booking confirmation. Any deposit already paid will be refunded in full as soon as possible after cancellation.

If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days but more than 15 days before arrival, the deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is payable. Any deposit already paid will not be refunded. The cancellation must be submitted by email to [email protected].

If the booking is cancelled 15 days or less before arrival, the full booking amount is payable. The cancellation must be submitted by email to [email protected].

In the event of a no-show, a shortened stay or a partial cancellation, the full booking amount remains payable.

A booking may not be transferred to a third party without the prior approval of Villa Verdicchio.

A negative travel advisory does not provide an additional right to free cancellation. The cancellation conditions set out above remain applicable. We recommend that guests take out adequate travel and cancellation insurance.

Within 30 days before arrival, the booked stay dates can no longer be changed.

Non-refundable Rate

A booking made at the Non-refundable Rate cannot be cancelled or changed free of charge. The full booking amount will be charged to the guest’s credit card at the time of booking. We recommend that guests take out adequate travel and cancellation insurance.

4. Cancellation by Villa Verdicchio

If Villa Verdicchio is required to cancel the agreed stay due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, we will inform the guest as soon as possible.

Where possible, Villa Verdicchio will offer the guest a suitable alternative. If no alternative can be offered, or if the guest does not accept the proposed alternative, all amounts already paid will be refunded in full.

5. Maximum number of persons per room

Each room is provided for 2 persons. The guest is not allowed to exceed this number. No extra beds can be added. Guests are not allowed to host other people in the room.

6. Children

Villa Verdicchio is adult only 14+ years

7. Pets

In order to offer all guests an allergy-free room, pets are unfortunately not allowed.

8. Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, general areas, the garden and on the terraces of the rooms. An area in the garden is reserved for smoking.

9. Parking

Some parking spaces are available at Villa Verdicchio. On the road at Villa Verdicchio there is enough space to park cars.

10. Complaints

We try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Despite our good care, it is still possible that you have a complaint or comment. Please discuss this with us so that we can try to resolve it to your satisfaction.

11. Damage

Villa Verdicchio is not responsible for any damage, loss or theft suffered by guests during their stay. Use of facilities and Villa Verdicchio’s own grounds is at the sole risk of the guest. Villa Verdicchio shall not be liable for any damage resulting from natural disasters, acts of nature, strikes, attacks, acts of violence or accidents. If the guest damages movable or immovable property of Villa Verdicchio, this must be reported and compensated immediately.

12. Arrival and departure

You may occupy your room/suite between 16:00 and 20:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must vacate it by 10.30 am at the latest. After consultation and if the situation allows it, this may be deviated from.

13. Airconditioning

The use of air conditioning is included in the room rate. We ask our guests to use it in an ecological and responsible manner. Please turn off the air conditioning when leaving the room. If this is not done, we reserve the right to enter the room and turn off the air conditioning. This is to avoid unnecessary energy consumption.

In the event of technical failure of the air conditioning, it may not work (temporarily). We will do our utmost to remedy any malfunction as soon as possible and will then provide a fan. A defective air conditioning does not entitle you to cancel the reservation. In case of breakdown, we offer a discount of €10 per room per night. This discount will be settled at check-out.

14. Deposit

If the guest rents THE VILLA, Villa Verdicchio is entitled to require a deposit of up to €500 from the guest at the start of the rental period. This deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, after deduction of any expenses or damages incurred by the guest.

15. Italian law

The rental agreement between Villa Verdicchio and the guest is governed by Italian law. Disputes will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Jesi (AN), Italy.
