During your wine tour through Le Marche you will spend the night in our former winery in a spacious suite with terrace. From the terrace you can enjoy the view over the vineyards and the magical sunset over the mountains.
By using warm and luxurious materials and furniture and objects from Knoll international, B&B Italia, Fornasetti and iittala, you will immediately feel at home in this room. The top-quality Technogel Estasi mattress, covered with wonderfully soft stonewashed cotton bed linen, will give you a wonderful night’s sleep.
Our beautiful Verdicchio suite is named after the DOCG riserva category of the most important DOC Appellation of Le Marche, Verdicchio Dei Castelli di Jesi, named after the town of Jesi. The white grapes for the ‘Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi’ DOC have been grown in the rolling hills of the provinces of Ancona and Macerata since Roman times. This Verdicchio grape gets its name from the green color of the grapes. The wonderful thing about this sublime grape variety is its constant elegance, which runs like a common thread through all wines, even when it comes to the most full-bodied and structured wines. Spacious 2-person suite 45m2 with large private terrace 30m2
The 45m2 spacious Verdicchio suite is located on the first floor and consists of 3 rooms: bedroom, bathroom and lounge, which can be reached from a small entrance hall. From the lounge you step onto the large private terrace of 30m2 and enjoy the breathtaking panorama.
Tasteful furnishings with authentic elements
The south-facing bedroom, with a view of the vineyards, is tastefully and luxuriously furnished while retaining the original beamed ceilings and local cotto tiled floor. The room has a double bed of 180×200 with luxurious bed linen, wardrobe, air conditioning, WiFi, mosquito net and shutters.
Ensuite bathroom with daylight
The spacious ensuite bathroom with daylight consists of a sink with mirror, bath with shower, toilet and bidet. We provide a towel package, refreshing shower gel and a hairdryer is also at your disposal. The towels are changed every three days. There is no heating in the bathroom.
Lounge with mini fridge
In the lounge you can enjoy the luxury of a cozy salon with comfortable armchairs and sofa. There is a mini fridge where you can chill the tastiest bottles. There are glasses and a corkscrew in the room. From the lounge you step through the double doors onto your large private terrace.
Large balcony terrace with panoramic views
On the large balcony terrace of 30m2 with outdoor table, 4 chairs and parasol, you have a beautiful view over the vineyards and the sunset behind the mountains. Here you can relax in the sun with a book and a good glass of wine!
Luxury breakfast at the table
To start the day well, enjoy a varied ‘delicious breakfast’ in the healthy outdoor air. You choose your own table in the intimate courtyard of Villa Verdicchio or you sit at the long, communal, wooden table in the cantina if it is a little chillier.
Start with a delicious Cappuccino, espresso, tea or fruit juice. We do not have a breakfast buffet, but we serve all the goodies at your table.
Every day we serve delicious fresh bread, local cheese and meat products, homemade jam, egg preparation, yoghurt with fresh seasonal fruit from the garden and a cake or pastry.
Air conditioning, mosquito net and shutters
For your comfort, there is air conditioning in the bedroom for cooling (and heating during colder days). The windows have shutters and the large window in the bedroom has a mosquito net.
Guest kitchen
In the old cantina where the wine used to be fermented there is now a kitchen where we prepare a delicious breakfast in the morning. Our guests can – upon consultation – use this kitchen to prepare a light meal. (see photo here)
